Grandpa started up in the end of november 2003 by three old friends from Stockholm. They were tired of all the “cool” and “stiff” shops in Stockholm were you actually never feel welcomed. They thought there were something missing, a nice and friendly shop that at the same time were cool and trendy. With no experience from the business they started Grandpa, selling actually everything that they self would like to find in a shop. Grandpa sells new and vintage clothing and vintage furniture from the 60´s and 70´s in a mix with accessories, interior design and funny gift items. Grandpa has a lovely “at home” feeling where all the customers also contributes to the atmosphere. Grandpa offers clothing from well known brand as well as garments from up-and-coming Swedish designers. Grandpa has among others, the following brands in the shop: Velour, Hope, Stylein, Dagmar, Fifth Avenue Shoe Repair, Pudel, Whyred, Swear, Gram, Revolution, Vasuma and more. The stores have a broad and unique range of fashion, accessories, books, furnishings, items and second hand furniture. Here you’ll meet friendly staff that will help you find what you’re looking for. Grandpa has a broad clientele. In our stores you’ll find a mix of pepople from the city, people from the suburb, Swedish tourists, foreign tourists, fashion kids, slackers and style nerds. Despite the variation in age, personality, style and appearance the classic Grandpa customer is always a pleasant soul.
We at Grandpa want to give our customers added value. Sometimes we have evening open, invite bands or DJ’s that play live music or offer photograph or art exhibitions. At Grandpa everything can happen and you never know quite what to expect.
