Tokyo Designers Week will start on October 29 celebrating its 25th anniversary. The event has become a landmark on the international design calendar and this year will be the biggest exhibition yet as thousands of creators descend on the world’s trendiest capital. Following the success of the previous year Green, the theme Love Blue is dedicated to environment: “Green signified plants and land whereas the Blue signifies the sky and sea, which unite the land together” – Gwenael Nicolas
The headquarter is located at Aoyama (Jingu Gaienmae Venue) in Tokyo, where leading designers and new talents will show their professional works like Environmental Design Tent, Cube Exhibition, Student Exhibition. A Design Forum and Music shows will be organized and expected to attract large crowds and attention from the media.
And if all this creativity galore whets your appetite for shopping you can buy products directly from creators at Tent Shop or at the hundreds of shops, galleries and cafes across Tokyo partnering with TDW.
