Elda Chair

by published on 23 July 2011

Designed by Elda Bellone and Davide Carbone of GSelect under the brand new company Scoope Design, Elda is not just a chair. When “unfolded” it becomes a stepladder, very useful near a tall bookcase, for example. Elda is conceived and manufactured completely with sustainable materials, from it’s wooden structure, to the the water based paint finish, the 100% wool felt hood ( when ready to be used as a ladder, the hood comes off and the chair folds out easily) and the magnetic locking system to hold it in place. Everything has been made focusing on sustainability and leaves zero footprint. A very nice object, clean and useful, it should reach the stores in October.
