A metaphorical short film about bikes, movement, freedom and love. Every day mind tries to get the better of heart. Space and time have always existed and we can’t stop them. Throught the movement we discover ourself. Speed is like curiosity. A crash between two bodies. To remember us that we are not alone. The video has been realised by Raoul Paulet between Montréal and London. It combines 2d and 3d motion graphics and video footages.

ABICI is tomorrow’s nostalgia, the bicycle in its pure conceptual essence, a perfect combination of yesterday and of tomorrow, to pedal today. ABICI takes form to its most essential, as there are no wires or other attachements the sensuality of the form is magnified, the bicycle is laid bare. ABICI, simple and harmonious, mixes a retro style with hi-tech features making it unmistakable and pure. Crafted in Italy and rigorously tested, piece by piece.
Three friends in the Lombard/Emilian province and a passion born in a tavern, between a bottle of “lambrusco” and a “tortelli” course. This is how the ABICI idea was born. Giuseppe Marcheselli, Stefano Seletti, Cristiano Gozzi started from an old 50’s catalogues of an italian artisan and they began to dream of a prototype, trying to imagine a bicycle without frills and adding simple hi-tech detaiils, the bicycle in its pure and naked form. Here it starts a story made of tradition and technology, imagination and management.

Note Design Studio has designed a unique Stockholm line for the stylish Italian bicycle manufacture Abici, where the colors from four different iconic buildings in Stockholm have inspired the colors of the bicycles. There is a yellow, a red-orange, a white and a blue, — can you guess the buildings that inspired them?

Let it ride, ride, ride
Steven from San Francisco and Peteris from Latvia rode their bikes from Stockholm, Sweden to Barcelona, Spain in 2009. About 2700 miles fixed gear.
We are against pessimism and recession. We are about mustaches, fixed gear bikes, and great ideas. We are going to heavily document our adventure, and hope to inspire others to pursue their passions.

Archival Clothing bags are made of stout, closely woven waxed cotton and military-grade cotton webbing. All edges are bound in waxed cotton tape and all stress points are bar-tacked. Solid brass hardware is used throughout. Handsewn in Oregon, these bags are practical and free of complications.

velo-re is a company that started out as a dream, and is proof positive that the simplest of ideas can turn into a profitable enterprise, even in harsher economic times.. The guys @velo-re make belts from recycled bicycle tyres. Each one is individual, and handmade in Brixton (London) or Bern (Switzerland). These days, with more clothes and fashions available than ever before, I set out to create a clothing item that was unique and individual while indulging in 2 passions of mine – bicycling and finding solutions to environmental problems. I have always been extremely passionate about sport and filtered that passion into work as a cycle instructor in London, helping others navigate London’s much-improved cycling possibilities. Additionally, I originate from Switzerland, where we are keenly aware of how important it is to keep our environment and beautiful landscape as preserved as possible. This sometimes means I find it difficult to throw things away; I love the idea of making something useless useful.
