Green Music in Milan
What music can do about environmental problems? Tom Yorke is one of the most important artists that takes care of them and he has decided to play only during events organized looking to the low environmental impact. Glastonbury, Leeds and Reading festivals in Uk promote every year a green culture and wherever possible they try to minimize their impact. Polkadot is proud to tell you about the great project of Circolo Magnolia in Milan! It’s a solar panels’ system on the roof that allows to cover the energy’s demand for all activities: gigs, events, festivals. 100 panels (200 watt per each), an investment of 150.000 € in partnership with Milan Town, a concrete action for the environment. During 4 years of activity Circolo Magnolia has been always promoted music culture with a lot of great gigs, festivals, dj sets with a low price policy and looking to the quality. Polkadot believes it was an important step to approch a new italian vision close to european clubbing culture. This project strengthens Magnolia’s philosophy and our romantic idea that music can save the world, just a little bit!
