Fashion Department – Antwerp Royal Academy of Fine Arts
The Antwerp Royal Academy of Fine Arts was founded in 1663, and produced many famous designers, like Dirk Bikkembergs and Martin Margiela.
Each year it holds a 3 days long fashion show, where creations of students from all the four years are presented to a wide audience of journalists and fashion experts. Pictures of last show are avaible at this link; be sure to check them out because there is some amazing work, especially from the young students of the first year.
The Academy also issues a magazine, Show/Off #2, focused on all activities and projects regarding the fashion department. You can buy it at IdeaBooks for only € 10.00
