Goliath has just featured their summer collection on the their brand new website. There is no lack of basics colors like dark blue, brown and black in the SS10 collection, but the greater part of the collection is refreshing, colorful and lively.
Next to the famous Gully, Lauren and Oval, based on the original Goliath trainers of the ’50 and beginning of the ‘60, few new styles have been added to the men’s collection: Heckly is based on Sport Classics from the ’50 – ’60, translated to shoes for modern times. The ladies collation is extended with the styles Bounce, Court, Bellerive and the Ellis with feminine shoe lasts, soles and details.
Each shoe of Goliath is developed with eye for detail, quality and comfort. To give the foot more support a new and a much more comfortable innersole is used for optimum fitting. Besides that only first class leathers, twill cottons, canvas and 100% genuine rubber has been used to produce the shoes.
A few famous styles have been remastered from the outside, by using a sleeker Vulcanising Process to achieve a thinner sole and much more feminine look; A Real Modern Vintage Look. A good example is the Court, which is related to the Gully which also features Pinstripe and herringbone details, which were a proved to be a big success last season has been continued on a really fresh manner. New materials used for this collection are coated canvas which gives the shoe an enriched charisma, the sports nylon makes sure the shoe can breathe better.
