London’s original short film evening is back! With weekly screenings now in Cape Town, Toronto and sold out 3D events at the Barbican London last year, Short & Sweet has firmly established itself as the best way to enjoy short films.
Don’t let the cheap tickets and relaxed atmosphere fool you though – this is great stuff! Every year since 2007, BAFTA have chosen Short & Sweet as the London venue to screen all their short film and short animation nominees. In 2008 Getty Images and Short & Sweet got together for a film challenge: four ideas were chosen, four films were made. The winning film, ‘Photograph of Jesus’ has won almost all the major animation awards over the past couple years. (View the films here)
