danskdesign.nu is a business that began as a traditional retail company in 2002 in small premises in a romantic farmyard on the outskirts of Gothenburg. It’s goal was to offer an integrated shop for quality design items from ,first and foremost Denmark, but also from other Nordic countries.
danskdesign.nu was launched November 2005 and orders were received immediately from all corners of the world. Since then, even more products have been introduced. The selection of products is constantly expanding to incorporate more of the best and most well known design products such as: Arne Jacobsen, Stelton, Louis Poulsen, Georg Jensen, Rosendahl, Bodum, Jacob Jensen, Eva Solo, Fredericia Furniture
It has been extremely exciting to see orders coming in from all around the world. danskdesign.nu was started and is still owned by Charlotte Katz, 43 years old- who was born and brought up in Copenhagen but has lived in many other countries. Charlotte now lives in Gothenburg, Sweden. Over and above driving her design and furniture shop as well as the internet site, she also gives interior design advice as well as writes articles for newpapers on the subject.
