We took a stroll downstairs from the hype of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week and an altogether unique experience found us on Torstrasse 114, Berlin: Smartstyles Pop Up Fashion-Cafe. It’s a fashion cafe attracting chic youths, it’s a fashion gallery, cafe, bar, chillout lounge with a DJ playing grooves from a makeshift booth. On highlight is the Nokia C7 phone displayed with fashion designers such as Anna Sophie Howoldt and Ivan Mandzukic. Also two doors down is the photography showroom where you can openly view models being photographed by Yves Borgwardt. The cafe just happens to be their living room for the few days, Jan 20-22. Hardly a day left, but stop by for a look, for a drink, for a chic hangout with fashionistas… suit yourself!
