MBFW 2011 – BLLACK NOIR

As the closing act to MBFW 2011, BLLACK NOIR didn’t disappoint! As per some unspoken German fashion law, we have the obligatory black. But suppressed to simple skin tight garments, rigid and architectural, and combined with their highlights: pearly white marble laced with smoky gray veins or silky navy. The designs sinuously billows across the bodies of models as they push across the catwalk. Classic business formal and casual wear are presented for “young eco aware women with a look that’s edgy, exclusive and rock ‘n’ roll.” Who says professionality can’t come with flair?
