Kitesurf Freestyle World Cup

Marsala will host from 25 to 30 june in the beautiful location of Stagnone, the Kitesurf Freestyle World Cup.

Kitesurf is a surface water sport. The kitesurfer is moved by the power of the wind with a large controllable power kite, riding a particular surfboard. In this freestyle competition, the kite and board are used to get big air (jumps) so that various tricks can be done while airborne.

The Stagnone area appears to be a beautiful location for this event, with strong winds and quite calm sea with Mozia and other three small islands wich protect the area.
Stunning original old windmills used for the salt extraction from the sea will be the frame of this show
The event is included into the big celebrations around “Marsala European wine city 2013“, when concerts, local parties, museums, food and wine tastings, will liven up the area all the year long.
Marsala, very cozy city with a beautiful sea in the western part of Sicily, famous for the traditional Marsala wine and all the local wine producers, is able to entertain the youngests with nice cafes and bars with music and Italian renown aperitivo and also traditional tourists and families offering a wide range of things to see.
