It’s not statistically proven that roughly 1 in 10 people become instantly obsessed upon first view of the new city neighborhood poster series designed by Ork Posters. Who knew maps could be so alluring? The company was founded, and posters designed, by Chicago-based graphic designer Jennifer Beorkrem.

As the largest poster in size and number of neighborhoods, her pièce (or poster) de résistance is Chicago, but Brooklyn, Manhattan, San Francisco and Boston are also offered, and certainly hold their own. Los Angeles, Seattle, Portland, Toronto and a city TBD are promised late spring, early summer 2007. A Rome poster should come before the end of the year. Stay tuned!  Orkposters
