Three-piece Simian Ghost released this year their debut album and started a successful tour with Stealing Sheep ended this week. Dopo aver sentito questa risposta da Connan Mockasin, avevo capito che l’intervista avrebbe preso una piega interessante, al limite tra reale e il surreale, un po’ come la sua performance.
Gli Hooded Fang sono un collettivo di ragazzi canadesi divertenti, colorati, frizzanti. A marzo hanno prodotto la loro seconda creazione, molto dance, Tosta mista che rimanda al surf rock degli anni Sessanta, ma anche un pò alla psichedelia del quartetto di Liverpool. Chi si domanda da dove proviene il nome della band, la risposta è presto data: Richler Mordecai con “La versione di Barney” è stata la fonte d’ispirazione poi, aggiungici che il cugino dello scrittore frequentava la nonna di Lane (il chitarrista) e la storia è presto fatta.
