Lunedì 22 Marzo, La Casa 139 ospiterà il giovane cantautore italiano Dario Brunori (accompagnato dalla sua band), in esordio con il suo primo album “Vol. Uno”. In attesa della bella stagione, i Brunori S.A.S. ci regalano ballate fresche e scanzonate dove la chitarra acustica accompagna testi ironici e nostalgici. Con lo sguardo al passato (e di qui il piccolo Dario in copertina) la band ci proietta nella nuova musica melodica italiana.
Keep your eyes on the road – The Lone Wolf single
“The Devil and I” will be the name of the album by Paul Marshall under the new name of Lone Wolf, a debut powered by Bella Union. This is the video realised for the launch of the first single “Keep your eyes on the road” thanks to the collaboration of Ashely Dean, the popular animator of the Broken Pixel methods. It wants to be an homage to Peter Gabriel’s video “Sledgehammer” (1986) that has been considered the best animated video into music history until now. Good sounds, great video! We are waiting for the complete L0ne Wolf’s album!

AIAIAI Pipe earphone in two new colors
The guys @ Aiaiai introduce a new approach to the upcoming releases of their Pipe earphones. They are gonna create 2-3 new colours of pipes every third month. The colours are inspired by things/objects or the like that have had some kind of inpact on AIAIAI crew throughout the years. The first one is inspired by the legendary Nike Air Trainer 1 tennis shoe that we’ve all – including John McEnroe – played in back in the days. It came out in 1987 as a cross trainer shoe project, but soon became a hit as a tennis shoe and it was even used in the NBA at one point. The idea and colourway has been re-launched several times, but nothing really matches the good old original one.
The second vesion of the new pipes is inspired by the one an only beer – Gold Tuborg! Also known as “the golden lady” the beer hit the danish market in 1895 and was actually meant for export markets. Instead it quickly became only a national product for the Danes – and they/we loved it.
At the old A-house, where we/AIAIAI used to have our club, we served the gold beer instead of regular pilsner and we even served it in a can (as the one you see on the picture). People loved it and soon Tuborg realized that this beer had been down-prioritized way too much through out the years. The second year of our clubs existence, we had Tuborg convinced to make us customized Gold Tuborg vending machines, which became a great success. Today these vending machines are spread all over town as an alternative to line up in the bar.

Dopo avere registrato il sold out in prevendita per numerose date in tutta Italia, il “Bellimbusti in tour”, la nuova tournée teatrale di Elio e le Storie Tese, farà tappa al Palatour di Bitritto Giovedi 11 Marzo 2010 per un concerto che si preannuncia da “tutto esaurito”.
Il “Bellimbusti in tour” ha preso avvio dal trionfale concerto dello scorso 26 ottobre con la Filarmonica Arturo Toscanini in occasione dei vent’anni dall’uscita del primo album del simpatico complessino, “Elio Samaga Hukapan Kariyana Turu”, disco che ha dato inizio al più clamoroso fenomeno di culto nella storia della canzone italiana.
Dopo quella performance e la pubblicazione dell’antologia “Gattini”, gli Elio e le Storie Tese hanno voluto portare quell’esperienza sui palchi dei più importanti teatri italiani, questa volta senza orchestra, proponendo il meglio del loro repertorio da “Supergiovane” a “Servi della Gleba”, da “Il Rock and Roll” a “Tristezza”, da “Parco Sempione”a “Essere donna oggi”, proponendo anche chicche, brani inediti, improvvisazioni e un inconsueto mini-set acustico che stupirà anche i fans della prima ora del gruppo. Oltre naturalmente alla “scomoda” presenza dell’artista a sè Mangoni…

Brunori SAS @ Teatro Kismet, Bari
Il piacevole disincanto di ‘Vol. Uno’ , album d’esordio di Dario Brunori, pervade la hall del Teatro Kismet di Bari un sabato di metà febbraio. Sull’improvvisato ma coreografico palco Dario e i suoi soci accomandatari aprono il concerto con “Nanà” e la baustelliana “Italian Dandy”, seguono “Paolo”, “Di così”, “Il Pugile”, “Guardia ‘82”, “L’imprenditore” e “Come stai”. Il pubblico sorride e canta queste ballate tenere e scanzonate ma dirette ed essenziali, vicine ai nostri umori attuali e alle nostre malinconie e si esalta all’ascolto della cover di “El Diablo” dei Litfiba. Vampire Weekend – Giving Up the Gun
Jake Gyllenhaal is part of a superstar cast for Vampire Weekend’s new video for ‘Giving Up the Gun,’ which also brings together another fine tennis player, Joe Jonas, as well as Wu-Tang Clan’s RZA and Lil Jon. The clip is a stylish but decidedly weird dreamlike sequence where Vampire Weekend video muse Jenny plays the tennis game of her life. The video is directed by Emmett Malloy with its concept coming from frontman Erza Koenig.
